Entries are open for The Loerie Awards Architecture & Interior Design category. This category encompasses all retail, corporate, restaurant, museum, gallery and show stand entries which contribute to brand equity.
The entry deadline has been extended to 14 June – all new Architectural and Interior Design work that has been completed between 1 June 2009 – 14 June 2010 is eligible for entry, including new additions to an existing structure or brand, e.g. a new store, restaurant, or upgrade. You can still avoid the 5% late fee by submitting your work by 31 May. Entries are welcome from Africa and the Middle East, including the island states off the African Coast, e.g. Mauritius, Seychelles.

| If you have designed a public building, whether a museum, theatre, police station or any other public building that has been completed in the last 3 years, you can now enter for the WAN AWARDS 2010. | ||||||||
This year we have also introduced a category for un-built projects, so if you have a design on the boards for a civic or public building that is not yet built – even if it may never be built – you too can enter for the WAN AWARDS 2010.

The Sarah Bartmann Architectural Competition for the design of the Sarah Bartmann Centre of Remembrance is now open to all SACAP Registered Persons, the competition will be judged in two rounds by a jury of 7 people. The jury consists of the following South African Institute of Architects (SAIA members) Prof. Lucien le Grange, Prof. Bannie Britz and Laura Robinson will form part of this team.
Please note that the registration date has been extended and the competition closes on the 17th of April at 5pm.
